Keep your blood sugar levels stable throughout your day and top up your energy levels with a healthy raw hemp and cocoa protein bar recipe.


  • 1 cup of ground almonds
  • 1 cup of pitted dates
  • 2 tablespoons of agave nectar or honey
  • ¼ of Nutiva hemp protein powder 2 tablespoons of raw organic cacao powder
  • ¼ cup of Goji Berries
  • ¼ cup of Nutiva Hemp seeds
  • Optional: Nutiva coconut oil to help bind the mixture where necessary  


  1. In a food processor, combine the almonds and hemp protein powder
  2. Add the pitted dates
  3. Add the agave nectar, and blend until smooth
  4. Add the goji berries followed by the hemp seeds
  5. A smooth texture that can be easily shaped into bars should be obtained. If the mixture is not to your liking, add 1 tablespoon of melted Nutiva coconut oil and mix well before creating bars
  6. Tip:  Put parchment paper on a tray and spread the mixture. Cut into roughly equal bars and allow it to set in the refrigerator for 30 minutes
  7. Pack in an airtight container once ready
